Report a Review
If you believe a review violates our Community Guidelines, you can report it.
What to Report
- False or fabricated information
- Confidential company information
- Personal attacks or harassment
- Discriminatory content
- Spam or promotional content
- Duplicate reviews
How to Report
- Navigate to the review in question
- Click the "Report" button
- Select the violation type
- Provide additional context (optional)
- Submit the report
Our team will review within 48 hours.
Request Review Removal
For Review Authors
If you posted a review and want it removed:
- Log into your account
- Navigate to your review
- Click "Delete Review"
Reviews are typically removed immediately.
For Companies
Companies may request review removal if the review:
- Contains false statements of fact (requires evidence)
- Violates privacy or confidentiality
- Was posted by someone who never interviewed
- Contains illegal content
We do not remove reviews simply because they are negative.
Removal Request Process
Email us at reviews@ratemyinterview.com (placeholder) with:
- Company name and review URL
- Specific concerns (which statements are false/inappropriate)
- Evidence (emails, documentation, etc.)
- Contact information for follow-up
We will:
- Acknowledge receipt within 2 business days
- Review the claim and evidence
- Contact the review author if needed
- Make a decision within 7 business days
- Notify all parties of the outcome
Appeal a Decision
If you disagree with our moderation decision:
- Email appeals@ratemyinterview.com (placeholder)
- Reference the original case number
- Provide additional information or context
Appeals are reviewed by a different team member.
Legal Requests
For legal matters (DMCA, subpoenas, etc.), email legal@ratemyinterview.com (placeholder).
Transparency
We publish quarterly transparency reports showing:
- Number of reports received
- Types of violations
- Removal rates
- Appeal outcomes
